Water transfer printing technology is a type of printing that uses water pressure to hydrolyze polymers on transfer paper/plastic films with colored patterns.

As people’s requirements for product packaging and decoration increase, water transfer printing is used more and more widely. Its indirect printing principle and perfect printing effect solve the problems of surface decoration of many products. It is mainly used for transfer printing of various types of ceramics, glass paper, etc.

1. A wide range of transfer objects

★All kinds of decals.

1. Print ceramic decals. It can be used to make patterns for various types of daily ceramics such as ceramic tableware and ceramic water sets. It can also be used to make waistlines, decorative tiles, decorative ceramics and other architectural tiles

2. Printing glass paper. It can be used for glass water sets, glass bottles, advertising cups, various glass containers and decorative glass.

3. Print helmet decals. It is widely used in the production of surface patterns on motorcycle helmets, safety helmets, etc.

4. Decals for sporting goods. Such as making trademarks and logos on the surface of tennis rackets, fishing rods, etc.;

5. Decals on metal pipe fittings. Such as making patterns and text on bicycle and motorcycle pipe fittings.

6. Making decals on the surface of toy car models;

7. Printing wooden decorative paper;

< p>8. Fashionable tattoo stickers;

9. Decals that are difficult to print directly.

★ Wide range of applications

1. Automotive supplies: Instruments Panel, control panel, paper towel tray, cup holder, tape rack, rearview mirror frame, operating handle, car lock, etc.;

2. Electronic products: telephone, pager, video recorder, stereo, remote control, mouse, Clocks, keyboards, cameras, hair dryers, etc.;

3. Living room supplies: sofas, coffee tables, cabinets, chandeliers, ashtrays, vases, decoration containers, etc.;

4. Day Used products: luggage decorations, tableware handles, eye boxes, pens, pen holders, calendar holders, art photo frames, rackets, hair accessories, makeup pens, makeup boxes, etc.;

5 Indoor building materials: doors, windows, floors , wall panels, etc.

2. Water transfer printing process

Making water transfer decals → soaking decal paper → pattern transfer → drying → finished product

1 .Production of water transfer printing paper. After computer processing according to the required pattern, the negative is output to make a printing plate, and then various patterns are printed on the water transfer backing paper (specially treated paper does not need to be processed), and the cover is printed on the printed backing paper. Oil. Another method is to use a color laser printer to print the pattern directly onto the water transfer backing paper and then perform water transfer printing.

2. Soak the floral paper. Put the printed floral paper into the water, soak it for 30 seconds, then take it out of the water and wait until it can be transported. Be careful not to soak the paper for too long, otherwise the paper will dissolve Glue on the surface

3. Pattern transfer. First, process the surface of the object to be pasted, then transfer the soaked flower paper to it, then scrape off the excess water and dry.

4. Dry. Place metal, ceramic, glass and other types of items in the oven and bake at 140°C for 20 minutes; bake plastic items at 70°C for 60 minutes; candles, helmets or tempered glass are not baked.

5. Finished product. Spray a layer of transparent varnish on the flower surface of the baked item, and dry it for 12 hours to permanently combine the flower surface with the decoration. If you do not do this project It is also possible, but the fastness is not good

★Water transfer printing technology (principle of water coating)

There are two types of water transfer printing technology, one is watermark transfer technology , the other is water coating transfer printing technology. The former mainly completes the transfer of text and photo patterns, while the latter tends to transfer completely on the entire product surface. Cubic transfer technology (Cubic Transfer) uses a water-based film that is easily soluble in water to carry graphics and text. Due to the excellent tension of the water-coated film, it can easily wrap around the surface of the product to form a graphic layer, giving the surface of the product a completely different appearance just like spray paint. Covered on workpieces of any shape, it solves the problem of three-dimensional product printing for manufacturers. Curved draping can also add different textures to the surface of the product, such as leather texture, wood texture, emerald texture, marble texture, etc. It can also avoid the empty spots that often appear in general layout printing. And during the printing process, since the product surface does not need to be in contact with the printing film, damage to the product surface and its integrity can be avoided.

Water transfer printing uses a specially chemically treated film. After printing the required color texture, it is placed flat on the surface of the water. The color texture pattern is evenly transferred to the product using the action of water pressure. On the surface, the coating will automatically dissolve in water. After cleaning and drying, a transparent protective coating will be applied. At this time, the product will have a completely different visual effect.
