(1) The components of a color combination trademark are two or more colors. If applying for trademark registration based on color combination, the trademark pattern should be a color block indicating the color combination, or a graphic outline indicating the location of the color use. The graphic outline is not a component of the trademark and must be represented by a dotted line rather than a solid line.
(2) If applying for trademark registration based on a color combination, a text description should be submitted, indicating the color code, and explaining how to use the trademark. Text description, color code, and how to use the trademark should be filled in the "Trademark Description" column.
