What does it mean to issue an admission notice?
The issuance of the acceptance notice means that the trademark registration materials you submitted have passed the examination. If the materials are acceptable, an acceptance notice will be sent to you, which also means that your trademark has officially entered the examination procedure.

The notice also showed that the application documents submitted by the applicant met the requirements and the application procedures were complete, and the Trademark Office decided to accept its application. Article 12 of the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Trademark Law stipulates: "If the application procedures are complete and the application documents are filled in according to the regulations, the application number shall be compiled and a notice of acceptance shall be issued". It can be seen that anyone who receives the Notice of Acceptance shows that his trademark registration application meets the requirements in form, and the Trademark Office has accepted it and will review it according to law.

Two kinds of treatment, for the application procedures are incomplete or the application documents do not meet the requirements, the Trademark Office will take two different treatment methods as appropriate:

1. If the procedures are basically complete or the application documents basically meet the requirements, but some contents need to be corrected, the Trademark Office will notify the applicant to make corrections within a time limit. After the applicant makes corrections on time, the Trademark Office will issue a notice of acceptance.

2. If it cannot be corrected or the applicant fails to make corrections on time, the Trademark Office will return the application.

The notice of acceptance only indicates that the Trademark Office has accepted the application for trademark registration, but does not indicate whether the application can be approved. Therefore, the Notice of Acceptance cannot be used as a legal proof of the use of its trademark. In fact, the Trademark Office has accepted a considerable number of applications for trademark registration, but they have all been rejected after examination.

Legal basis:

trademark act

Article 28 The Trademark Office shall, within nine months from the date of receiving the application documents for trademark registration, complete the examination of the trademark applied for registration, and if it meets the relevant provisions of this Law, make a preliminary examination and approval announcement.

Article 29 In the course of examination, if the Trademark Office considers that the contents of the application for trademark registration need to be explained or modified, it may request the applicant to make explanations or modifications. If the applicant does not make explanations or amendments, it will not affect the examination decision of the Trademark Office.

Article 30 Where a trademark applied for registration does not conform to the relevant provisions of this Law or is identical with or similar to a trademark that has been registered or preliminarily approved by others on the same kind of goods or similar goods, the Trademark Office shall reject the application without making an announcement.
