Anci District began to introduce Elizabeth melons in 1987. In 1997, the district was named the "Hometown of Honeydew Melons" by the China Specialty Products Research Association. In 1995, Anci District named its annual series of thick-skinned melons as "Jindu" brand honeydew melons, applied for trademark registration with the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, and officially announced its use in July 1997.

At present, there are more than 70 varieties of "Jindu" honeydew melon series. Anci District has suitable natural conditions and good technical measures. The "Jindu" brand honeydew melon produced has beautiful fruit shape, high sugar content and good quality. In 1997, it was rated as a famous brand product of Hebei Province and was featured in the third national agricultural expo. Was rated as a famous brand product. In 1999, it was listed as one of the 22 famous brand agricultural products in Hebei Province and won the bronze medal at the 99 Kunming World Horticultural Exposition.
