Tequ was the best quality liquor in Daqu liquor, and the registered trademark of "Baita" brand was used at that time. In the 196s, the alliance of workers and peasants was a social hotspot. In September 1966, LU ZHOU LAO JIAO CO.,LTD changed the original "Baita Brand" to the "Workers and Peasants Brand" trademark, commonly known as "Workers and Peasants Special Song", which remained in use until the end of 1987.

in the 196s, ordinary people needed to buy a bottle of Luzhou Laojiao Tequ with a wine ticket, but it was rare to drink a bottle on holidays. At that time, Tequ was common in the reception of county-level leaders, and the people affectionately called Luzhou Laojiao Tequ "the old county magistrate". The winery was renamed as "Luzhou Qu Distillery in Sichuan Province" in 1964, and the brand of workers and peasants was also produced during this period of the winery.
