Ferry tickets are divided into three categories: upper cabin, middle cabin, and lower cabin (sleeper berth), with fares ranging from 100 to 150. People who suffer from seasickness are advised to buy a sleeper ticket. The journey is very long and takes about two hours to reach Miaozi Lake in Dongji Island. You can go to the middle cabin to watch the sea on the way.

There are four departures a day on weekdays, and more departures on weekends. The pre-sale of tickets for the next day is scheduled to start at 14:30 every day. The queue to buy tickets was very long, and we were lucky enough to get a ticket for disembarkation at 6:30 in the morning, so it is understandable that the online purchasing fee is more expensive.

There are many hotels on Bingang Road. The hotel we booked is the one closest to the pier, about 0.7 kilometers away. We walked to the hotel to put our luggage and rest.

Out of the hotel door is Shenjiamen Fish Alley, with a coastline of about two kilometers along the pier. Obviously we go to choose a location to take beautiful photos first.
