The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine will publish the catalogue of inspection-free products for the current year. Eligible enterprises voluntarily apply to the local provincial quality and technical supervision department, which will conduct audit. The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) shall, after soliciting opinions from relevant parties and auditing according to the prescribed procedures, issue inspection-free certificates to enterprises that meet the prescribed conditions and make an announcement to the public. Inspection-free products are exempt from quality supervision and inspection by government departments at all levels within the validity period of three years. Enterprises that have obtained the inspection-free certificate may voluntarily use the inspection-free products or the inspection-free marks specified on their packages during the inspection-free period. After six years of implementation, 2 147 enterprises have obtained the national inspection-free qualification of 105 products through strict examination. Inspection-free products include rice wine, beverages, televisions, refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, leather shoes, computers, microwave ovens, infant formula, sanitary napkins, wine, range hoods, synthetic washing powder, fixed telephones, synthetic resin emulsion interior (exterior) wall coatings, food, industrial production materials, agricultural production materials, construction engineering materials and other industries related to the national economy and people's livelihood. It can be said that the national inspection-free system of product quality has become the highlight of social and economic life, which has aroused widespread concern from all walks of life.
