If the applicant entrusts a trademark agency to apply for renewal, the Trademark Office will not have any direct contact with the applicant, and all documents will be sent to the trademark agency. 5. The category of application shall be filled in according to the international classification approved by the Trademark Registration Certificate. The term of protection of a registered trademark is ten years, and the registered trademark shall be renewed before the term of protection expires. Apply for the renewal of a registered trademark, submit the corresponding application documents and pay the corresponding fees: (1) trademark renewal registration application; (2) the applicant's identity certificate (copy); (3) the power of attorney submitted by the entrusted agent; (4) A copy of the agent's ID card directly handled in the acceptance hall; (5) If the application documents are in a foreign language, they shall also be submitted. The applicant goes directly to the trademark registration hall or entrusts a trademark agency to handle the application, and the trademark agency will serve the application to the Trademark Office. Because the validity period of the trademark is only 10 year, if the validity period is up, it must be re-registered 12 months before the expiration, so the trademark renewal fee alone will be 2000 yuan.
