Why does it take more than a year to get a certificate for successful trademark registration?
According to the Trademark Law, the examination of trademarks should be completed within nine months, and there will be a three-month announcement period after the examination is passed. The registration of the trademark will not be completed until no one raises any objection at the end of the announcement period. In addition, there will be one to two months between the completion of the examination and the release of the preliminary examination announcement, so it takes more than one year to complete the registration of a trademark. This is a very smooth time. If the intermediate trademark is rejected for re-examination, or there are objections, the time will be longer.
