Tangyang Coal Mine is located in Nanzhan Town, Wenshang County, Jining City, and is affiliated to Shandong Yulon Mining Group Co., Ltd. The mine is adjacent to National Highway 105 in the west and 25 kilometers away from Jining in the south. The mine field covers an area of ??17 square kilometers. The mine field belongs to Tangyang Coal Field in Ningyang-Wenshang Coalfield, Jining City.

The mine is developed with double vertical shafts, arranged side by side in the center. A central parallel draw-out ventilation method is adopted, with the auxiliary shaft also serving as an air inlet shaft and the main shaft also serving as a return air shaft. The mining method adopts fully mechanized top coal caving technology. It is equipped with a 1.2 million tons/year heavy media flotation coal washing plant. The coal quality is low ash, low phosphorus, low sulfur, high-quality gas fertilizer coal. Main products: clean coal, medium coal, coal slime, coal sand.

On November 17, 1997, the Tangyang Coal Mine Preparation Headquarters was established. The ground was officially broken on July 28, 1998. Trial production was approved after joint acceptance by the Shandong Coal Mine Safety Supervision Bureau and the Provincial Coal Industry Bureau on December 31, 2000. The coal production license was obtained on March 10, 2001. It took only 28 months and an investment of 220 million yuan to build a production capacity of 1.2 million tons and an investment of 180 yuan per ton of coal.
