Beijing Forestry University will announce the list of recommended postgraduate students exempted from examination in 2023 (see the Graduate School website for the specific list: /result). The publicity period will be from October 26 to November 9, 2022. The final admission list is subject to the announcement of the Ministry of Education’s “National Postgraduate Admissions Information Disclosure Platform”.
Beijing Forestry University, referred to as Beilin, is located in Beijing. It is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the National Forestry and Grassland Administration. The school is based on biology and ecology, and features forestry, landscape architecture, forestry engineering, and agricultural and forestry economic management. It develops in agriculture, science, engineering, management, economics, literature, law, philosophy, education, art and other categories.
The school can be traced back to the agricultural science program of the Capital University in 1902. In 1952, the Forestry Department of Beijing Agricultural University merged with the Forestry Department of Hebei Agricultural College to form Beijing Forestry University. In 1956, the Landscape Architecture Department of Beijing Agricultural University and the Architecture Department of Tsinghua University were partially merged into the school. In 1960, it was listed as a national key institution of higher learning. In 1985, it was renamed Beijing Forestry University.
