Article 4 The naming of health-related products must comply with the following principles:

(3) The attribute name should indicate the objective form of the product, and abstract names must not be used. However, for traditional products whose attributes are already known to consumers, the attribute name can be omitted, such as lipstick, rouge, eye shadow, etc.;
(4) The product model should reflect the characteristics of the product, such as material, volume, capacity, etc. Advanced level, etc.
Article 6 Health-related products with the same formula and different dosage forms can use the same trademark name and common name when naming, but different attribute names must be indicated.
Article 7 Health-related products have the same trademark name, common name, and attribute name, but have different tastes or are produced for specific groups of people and are suitable for specific groups of people to eat, and health products with different colors, smells, and applicable groups Cosmetics (such as eye shadow, powder, rouge, lipstick, mascara, hair dye, nail polish, shampoo, etc.) should be identified after the attribute name to show the difference.
Article 8 The following content is prohibited when naming health-related products:
(1) Professional terms and local dialects that are difficult for consumers to understand;
(2) ) False, exaggerated and absolute words, such as "special effects", "high efficiency", "miraculous effect", "broad spectrum", "× generation", etc.;
(3) Vulgar or feudal Superstitious words;
(4) Approved drug names;
(5) Foreign letters, Chinese pinyin, symbols, etc. (except those indicating model numbers). If it is a registered trademark or must use foreign letters or symbols, it must be explained in Chinese in the instructions.
Article 9 The Chinese names of imported health-related products should correspond to the foreign names as much as possible. Free translation, transliteration, or a combination of free translation and transliteration can be used, and free translation is generally used.
"Principles for Naming Medical Device Products"
1. The naming of medical device products should be based on published national standards, industry standards and the product names in the "Medical Device Product Classification Catalog" as basis. For products that do not have national standards, industry standards, or products that do not have corresponding product names in the "Medical Device Product Classification Catalog", the naming should be based on the basic principle of reflecting the technical structural characteristics and functional attributes of the product.
2. Medical device product names should be in Chinese. If there is an English product name, it can also be used at the same time.
3. If the medical device has a trade name, it should be indicated when applying for registration.
4. The trade name of medical devices should comply with the relevant requirements in the "Regulations on the Management of Instructions, Labels and Packaging Markings of Medical Devices".
5. The same medical device products produced by the same manufacturer should use the same trade name. The manufacturer is responsible for checking the duplication of product names.
6. The product names and trade names of overseas medical devices should also comply with the provisions of Articles 1 to 5 of this Notice.
