Selective catalytic purification and reduction
Overview
Applicable to: vehicles with selective catalytic purification and reduction functions on cars with selective catalytic purification and reduction functions , a urea solution (AdBlue) will be sprayed into the exhaust emission device in front of the nitrogen oxide catalytic purifier to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions. AdBlue is stored in a separate tank in your car. AdBlue consumption is approximately 0.5 - 1.2% of the diesel used. The capacity of the AdBlue tank is approximately 22 liters.
Once the driving instructions in the instrument cluster require the addition of AdBlue, the professional company or the driver must add it themselves.
Tip
– The remaining available range will be prompted on the instrument cluster display. If the AdBlue reservoir is completely empty, the engine cannot be started again after the ignition is switched off.
– AdBlue is required by law to run in your car.
– AdBlue is a registered trademark of the Federation of the German Automotive Industry (VDA).
AdBlue level low
If the level in the AdBlue reservoir falls below a certain level, this message is notified:
Please refill AdBlue. Range 2400 km (please add AdBlue. The driving range is 2400 kilometers)
If the current remaining amount of AdBlue can still complete the available range given by the driver information system, the driver information will be displayed. Please add AdBlue.
