Shanlin Village is located in the northwest of Xijian Sub-district Office in Langya District, 9 kilometers away from the urban area, bordering Chuding Road in the east, Guanshan Village in the south, Guanshan Forest Farm in the west, Zhulong Town and Long Ting Kou Nature Reserve in the north. Chuding Road and suburban Lu Yang run through the north and south, passing through the territory, and the traffic is very convenient. In recent years, Guguan Xiantao and Guguan Jinxing produced in our village are famous in the east of Anhui Province.

Our village covers an area of 26.4 square kilometers, and governs 78 households in 16 villager groups with a total population of 3,52. Among them, there are 84 people in party member, 1,24 workers and 6 village cadres. With an area of 9757 mu of cultivated land (including 69 mu of rice), 7478 mu of woodland, more than 12 mu of water surface and 2521 mu of construction land, it is a typical agricultural village. Village-level collective economy is weak, farmers' income is low, and income increase is slow, so it is a poor village.

Over the past few years, under the leadership of Xia Yong, a poverty-relief cadre sent by the Municipal Party Committee, the teams of the two committees have United as one, worked hard, and are not willing to be backward and poor, and have made great efforts to develop the fruit industry by taking advantage of the mountain field. At present, a certain climate has been formed, and three trademarks, namely "Guguan Xiantao", "Guguan Jinxing" and "Guguan Gongzao", have been registered. The fruits produced by farmers in our village have entered the markets of large and medium-sized cities such as Nanjing and Changzhou. At present, our thinking is to conscientiously implement Scientific Outlook on Development and closely focus on the "four years" activities of the district committee and government, namely, the year of breakthrough in park construction, the year of tackling key problems in project construction, the year of innovation in community construction and the year of standardization in mechanism construction. With the development of production, affluent life, civilized rural customs, clean village appearance and democratic management as the target requirements, we should base ourselves on reality, seize opportunities, revitalize resources, face the market, develop and open up, develop suddenly, select the right carrier, work hard, work hard, strive for practical results, and promote the economic development, social harmony and all-round coordinated development of mountain villages.

There are tourist attractions such as Langya Mountain Scenic Area, Zuiweng Pavilion, Langya Temple, Chuzhou Grand Theatre, Langya Mountain Cliff Stone Carvings and Inscriptions near Shanlin Village, and there are special products such as mutton vermicelli, spicy clay pot rice, silverfish in Nvshan Lake, Chuzhou bonus and "golden amber candied dates".
