Nanjing Yuhua Tea belongs to the green tea among the six major teas. Lu Yu once recorded in the Book of Tea that tea was planted here in Nanjing during the Tang Dynasty, and Yuhua Tea was developed after the founding of New China. Yuhua tea is shaped like a pine needle, green and straight, symbolizing the loyalty and unyielding revolutionary martyrs.
