You can defend yourself.

After a trademark is opposed, approximately four months from the date of opposition, the Trademark Office will issue you a trademark opposition defense notice, and you must respond within one month after obtaining the notice. The Trademark Office does not charge fees.

The defense should focus on the reasons for the objection and be persuasive. The success rate is usually relatively high.
