In the 1980s, it was known as "the first hometown of strawberries in China". Since 1980s, at the invitation of Japanese friends, jurong city has sent 20 agricultural technicians and 200 strawberry growers to Aichi Prefecture, Japan to learn strawberry planting techniques. In recent years, Japanese strawberry experts Ishikawa and Kondo come to Jurong to give technical lectures every year. The level of strawberry planting technology in jurong city has also been recognized by Japanese experts, and won many provincial scientific and technological progress awards and agricultural scientific and technological achievement awards. At present, the scientific and technological personnel in jurong city have successfully studied and experimented with the techniques of regulating strawberry flower bud differentiation, precise fertilization and three-dimensional scaffold cultivation, and have obtained national technical patents. Promote clean production, apply bio-organic fertilizer and bio-pesticide, significantly improve the quality of strawberries, apply for registration of special trademarks of "Yuntu" and "Tiannuojia" brands, and make strawberry fresh fruit successfully occupy a place in supermarkets and hotels in large and medium-sized cities.
