1. Check the qualification documents
First of all, check whether the company is a qualified legal entity. Check its business license (whether it is inspected on schedule), tax registration certificate (national tax and Local tax), organization code certificate, etc., depending on the qualifications of his company, whether it has ISO9000 quality system certification, 14001 safety system certification, special product production license, honorary certificate, award certificate, network access certificate, and appraisal report from relevant national departments Etc., general suppliers should have these things, and there are many frauds in these things, so it is just a basic evaluation.
2. Check the technical documents
The technical level of an enterprise determines the quality of its products, but it requires an expert to look at it. You can look at its process flow, technical standards, Quality assurance measures, debugging arrangement cards and inspection records of each process reflect the actual operation of an enterprise.
3. On-the-spot investigation
Seeing is better than hearing, seeing is believing, so an on-the-spot investigation is the most feasible. First of all, we need to look at whether its office environment is clean and orderly, whether the division of office areas is reasonable, whether the staff's mental outlook and attitude towards others are polite, and whether they can answer questions quickly and clearly; Look at the production workshop, whether the placement of raw materials, finished products, and semi-finished products is reasonable, whether workers are chatting or deserting, how advanced the production equipment is, how well the machinery and equipment are used, what the environment and light are like in the workshop, etc.; look at it again Inspection equipment, inspection is the basis for ensuring product qualification, whether the inspection equipment meets the requirements, whether the inspection personnel have the qualifications of Xiangqing, and what is the quality of the inspection personnel (let them operate it in person or ask a few questions to get a rough idea); Finally, look at his warehouse to see if the layout is chaotic, whether the passages are clear, and whether the signs are clear.
There are no certain rules for this step of inspection, but you should pay attention to certain details. Details can often reflect the overall picture of a factory.
4. Supply experience
Only after actually dealing with you once will you understand whether this supplier is feasible and decide whether to cooperate with them next time. You should feel the following issues:
1. Supply quality: whether the quality meets the contract requirements, whether it is shoddy or marginal (at the boundary of the standard, it is difficult to judge whether it is qualified or not) .
2. Product packaging: Whether the packaging is sturdy and durable, the size and weight are reasonable, easy to load and unload, easy to count, whether the markings are clear, and products with similar specifications are not easily confused.
3. Delivery time: Delivery within the agreed delivery time, neither early nor late. This is the most important indicator for judging the integrity of a supplier.
4. After-sales service: Service is very important. It depends on whether their on-site service and training plan are feasible, whether the service is in place, and whether they are available on call.
5. Customer response speed: This is the most important indicator that reflects the efficiency of a supplier. It can respond to customer requirements and questions in the shortest time (yes or no, yes or no). This is I have the deepest experience in comparing state-owned enterprises with private enterprises. For example, if I want a private enterprise to send a piece of goods, I say so on the first day, and the goods will arrive the next day; but if I ask a state-owned enterprise to send a piece of goods, the promise is very OK, but no movement for a few days.
6. Whether they can consider customers: There are bound to be loopholes in the contract. If the supplier can use their experience and care to correct some mistakes or provide you with some rational suggestions, it will put a double check on your work. Inspection guaranteed.
7. Others: According to the assessment agreed by both parties in the contract, whether it has been implemented.
Finally, remember that the relationship with suppliers is a partnership rather than a simple relationship between Party A and Party B, so your requirements for suppliers must be reasonable and appropriate.
