First of all, the mascot "Ice Shield" is an important property of BOCOG. BOCOG enjoys the copyright, exclusive right of registered trademark and patent right of design for the image of "Ice Shield", and exclusive right of registered trademark for Chinese and English names.

Therefore, anyone who uses the image or name of "Ice Shield" shall abide by People's Republic of China (PRC) Copyright Law, People's Republic of China (PRC) Trademark Law, People's Republic of China (PRC) Patent Law (hereinafter referred to as Copyright Law, Trademark Law and Patent Law) and other relevant laws and regulations.
