Kaizhou District is located at the southern foot of Daba Mountain and in the hinterland of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. It is known as "handsome town", "orange town" and "Jinkaizhou". It has a history of citrus cultivation for more than 2, years, and once wrote a splendid history of "orange officials in Han Dynasty, oranges in Tang Dynasty", which is the most suitable area for citrus production, especially for late-maturing oranges. There are 252,6 mu of spring oranges in the whole region, with an annual output of 18, tons. This year, the estimated output value is 85 million yuan, and it has been rated as "Top 2 Citrus Counties in China" by China Fruit Circulation Association.
