Chain stores that meet the conditions for establishment shall be registered by the industrial and commercial administration authorities; without registration , shall not operate in the name of "chain store". The headquarters handles corporate legal person registration, and distribution centers and stores handle corporate legal person registration or business registration.
Article 4 Documents that should be submitted when a chain store applies for registration. Chain stores applying for registration should submit the following documents to the enterprise registration authority:
(1) Materials that can prove that it has several stores;
(2) The headquarters’ decision on the establishment of its wholly-owned or The decision of the controlled distribution center and store, or the chain operation contract signed by the headquarters with the stores in which it has a stake or no asset relationship;

The chain operation contract should stipulate the rights and obligations of both parties to the contract, and include the following matters: the content of authorizing the use of the headquarters’ trademark and font size; the content of unified procurement and distribution of goods; the content of providing business technology; the content of store decoration design content; promotion content; quality management content; headquarters’ financial monitoring of stores and collection of franchise fees; fair competition and protection of intellectual property rights; contract term, modification, termination and liability for breach of contract, etc.
