General situation of hongqipo farm
Hongqipo Farm in Aksu region is located in the middle of the southern foot of Tianshan Mountain, bordering Aksu in the south and Wensu County in the west. National highway 3 14 runs through the north and south of the farm, and provincial highway S2949 runs through the east and west. Hongqipo Farm was built in 1958, with a regional area of 3 1000 mu and a planned area of 250,000 mu. The total number of employees is 4,480, with a total population of12,473. It is a large state-owned agricultural enterprise with fruit industry as the leading factor. Since the mid-1960s, the fruit industry on the farm has developed on a large scale in the 1980s, and now it has formed a good pattern with outstanding key points (red Fuji apples), complete varieties (pears, grapes, walnuts and jujubes) and strong market risk resistance. By the end of 2006, the total orchard area reached 1.27 million mu, with an annual output of hundreds of thousands of tons of high-quality fruit, which sold well all over the country and exported to Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Macao and Central Asian countries and regions. "Hongqipo" brand fruit series is a well-known trademark in Xinjiang, and it is also the most popular product for consumers.
