Taixue, founded in the period of Emperor Wu of the Western Han Dynasty, was the highest institution of learning at that time. Similar to the Imperial College of the Qing Dynasty, Taixue flourished in the Eastern Han Dynasty. Later, it passed through the Cao Wei and Western Jin Dynasties until its decline in the late Northern Dynasties. It lasted nearly seven hundred years. Having such a plaque at home does not mean that my ancestors worked at Taixue, but it refers to the highest university in the country. It means that I worked at the highest university in the country and was very famous at that time. The four characters "Tai Xue" in the name are not only a symbol of status, but also a symbol of knowledge.
