Name registration of foreign-invested enterprises
Enterprises with foreign investment shall apply to the administrative department for industry and commerce for name registration after the project proposal and feasibility study report (or project approval form) are approved and before the contract and articles of association are signed. To apply for name registration, the following documents and certificates shall be submitted:
(1) An application form for the name of a foreign-invested enterprise signed by the person in charge of the establishment unit and stamped with the official seal (issued by the administrative department for industry and commerce).
(two) the project proposal and its approval documents or feasibility study report and its approval documents (including the approval form for Sino-foreign joint ventures and Sino-foreign cooperative projects or the application for the establishment of foreign-funded enterprises).
(3) Legal business commencement certificate and bank credit certificate issued by the government of the country (region) where the investor is located.
The name of a foreign-invested enterprise shall consist of the following parts: administrative division, trade name, industry or business characteristics and organizational form.
