With the signing of the Framework Agreement on Cross-Strait Economic Cooperation between ARATS and SEF, the relevant departments of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce will further strengthen the protection of the legitimate rights and interests of trademark owners in Taiwan Province.

To protect the legitimate rights and interests of trademark owners in Taiwan Province, the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board plays the role of trademark review, and stops the acts of registering trademarks by unfair competition, especially the well-known trademarks and agricultural product origin names in Taiwan Province.
