On November 27, 2007, Zhang Yuejiao was elected as a justice of the WTO Appellate Body. Zhang Yuejiao's term is four years, starting on June 1, 2008.
On May 20, 2008, Zhang Yuejiao was officially sworn in as a judge of the Appellate Body of the World Trade Organization in Geneva. Her four-year term will begin on June 1, 2008.
