Jagermeister took a two-pronged approach to safeguarding its rights. The invalid “Jagerbral Gurres” trademark was supported, and at the same time, it launched a trademark infringement and unfair competition lawsuit against the “Jagerbral Gurres” trademark.

After a trial, the State Intellectual Property Office issued a ruling on the invalidation of the trademark on August 27, 2021, ruling that the trademark No. 31027236 "Jagerha Gurez" should be declared invalid.
