Rinan abalone
Rinan Island has fast-flowing water, abundant fresh water and moderate water temperature. The unique natural environment and rich kelp, laver and Gracilaria lemaneiformis are extremely suitable for abalone culture, which is one of the main abalone producing areas in China.
Japanese abalone is a specialty of Japanese South Sea. It uses the fry cultivated by Hinan Island itself. Because of its fresh water quality, suitable climate, delicious and unique taste and bright color, it has 3 ~ 5 shell holes, protrusions around the shell holes and unique barnacles. Taking fresh kelp, laver and Gracilaria lemaneiformis produced in southern Japan as bait, abalone meat will not shrink obviously after cooking.
Nanribao Association successfully registered Nanribao's geographical indication certification trademark in 2009.
