How to check the authenticity of corn seeds
When buying seeds, we should identify them from the following aspects:

1. Whether the packaging of seeds is standard. Regular qualified seeds have labels attached to their packages, including seed category, variety name, registered trademark, origin, quality index, quarantine certificate number, seed production license number or import approval number, seed approval number, production batch number, production date, validity period and matters needing attention, etc.

2.

Whether the seeds are coated, packed in quantitative small bags, and whether the outer packaging is complete, standardized, unified and clear.

3.

Visually check the fineness of seeds (seeds without coating), and select seeds with bright colors, full grains, uniformity and no impurities

4. Look at the credibility of the business unit. When buying seeds, farmers' friends should buy packaged seeds that meet the requirements. They should not be greedy for cheap, and they should not buy bulk seeds at mobile vendors. They should buy seeds from regular and powerful seed-specialized companies or consignment agencies, or from relatively fixed seed sales outlets with seed sales orders.

5. Technical consultation. When farmers buy new varieties of seeds, they must first ask whether the varieties have been approved, and the unapproved varieties cannot be purchased and used; Secondly, ask about the characteristics and cultivation techniques of varieties, and ask for information such as variety introduction, and seriously consult whether the purchased seeds are suitable for local cultivation. In particular, it should be noted that the seeds introduced from other places, even the varieties that have been examined by the state, must be confirmed to be suitable for planting after being tested and demonstrated in the local area before they can be purchased and used, and they must not be blindly innovative.

6. No matter where you buy seeds, you should ask the seller for a seed purchase ticket, which should specify the name, quantity and production place of the purchased seeds in detail and keep it properly.

7. When sowing, don't use up all the seeds, but deliberately leave a little as a specimen, so that it is convenient to send the variety for inspection in case of quality incidents in the future, so as to determine whether it is caused by fake and inferior seeds.
