Hieroglyphics, oracle bone inscriptions, stone drum inscriptions, bell and tripod inscriptions (bronze inscriptions), large seal scripts, and small seal scripts are collectively called seal scripts, which are ancient characters. Most of the hieroglyphics are carved on the rock walls of mountains, with images of animals drawn to represent the characters. There are also many objects drawn to represent the characters. Many of the characters are still unknown to us. Oracle bone inscriptions are characters carved with knives on shells and animal bones. There are many characters that we still don’t know. Shiguwen is the characters carved on a drum made of stone. Zhongdingwen is the inscription on the bronze vessel, which is cast. All the fonts introduced earlier are Dazhuan. The unified writing system of Qin Shihuang was Xiaozhuan.
