Fruit Market Investigation Report
After certain things or situations occur, we need to carry out investigations with an innovative spirit, and finally compile an investigation report based on the obtained investigation materials. Let’s take a look at how to write a survey report. The following is a fruit market survey report that I collected and compiled. Welcome to read and collect it.
Fruit Market Survey Report Part 1
In order to promote the circulation of fruits in the county and solve the problem of fruit sales in the county, especially the problem of difficulty in selling orange fruits, timely grasp the sales of fruits in other places market conditions, smoothen the orange sales in our county, and learn from advanced sales experience and practices from other places. From April 14 to 19, 20xx, the county party committee and county government organized personnel from the circulation office and representatives of major fruit sales companies in the county to go to Changsha, Conduct fruit sales market research and study in the four cities of Wuhan, Zhengzhou and Yueyang. The investigation and study activities are now reported as follows:
1. Purpose of investigation and study
The purpose of this investigation and study is based on the fact that fruits in our county are accustomed to being sold in southern cities. To open up the sales market in northern cities, we conducted a survey on the fruit sales markets in four northern cities. At the same time, we will understand the feedback from our county’s fruit caravan’s trip to the north last year. At present, fruit sales in our county are facing a severe situation, especially orange sales. There are still more than 42,000 tons unsold in the county. The market in southern cities where sales are accustomed is not satisfactory, so it is necessary to open up the northern market. In view of this, the county party committee and government made a decisive decision and dispatched a seven-member investigation team headed by Liu Chongqing of the Fruit Circulation Office and composed of members of the County Circulation Office and representatives of major fruit sellers in the county to go to Changsha, Wuhan, Zhengzhou, and Yueyang. Wait for northern cities to investigate fruit sales, keep abreast of external fruit market conditions, put forward suggestions for fruit sales in our county based on the specific conditions of our county, solve the problem of difficult sales of fruits (especially oranges) in the county, and ensure that agricultural efficiency increases and farmers increase production. Increase income, promote the enthusiasm of fruit farmers, and promote the healthy economic development of the county.
2. Basic situation of the survey activity
This activity started in the morning of April 14th and returned to Gongcheng in the early morning of April 19th. It lasted for 6 days and reached three provinces ( Hunan, Hubei, Henan) and four cities (Changsha, Wuhan, Zhengzhou, Yueyang), with a journey of nearly ten thousand miles. A survey was conducted on the sales conditions of seven large fruit wholesale markets in four cities. Our investigation method is mainly through on-the-spot inspection and questioning of the business operations of the sales and wholesale store owners in the local market; the second is to hold discussions with local large sales owners and ask them to introduce the situation; the third is to distribute our Gongcheng fruit situation propaganda to local stall dealers information and promote our high-quality fruits to local fruit merchants; the fourth is to invite local fruit merchants to taste our orange sample fruits in Gongcheng. For large sales, we also give oranges to them as sales samples to promote them locally; the fifth is to invite local fruit merchants to taste our orange sample fruits in Gongcheng. Local market management department personnel and fruit sales representatives gave us suggestions.
(1) On the afternoon of April 14, we arrived in Changsha City, found the local Municipal Administration for Industry and Commerce, and got their support. We visited 4 temporary stalls that afternoon. On the morning of the 15th, accompanied by Deputy Director Yin of the Market Branch of the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Commerce, an investigation was conducted into the two largest wholesale markets in Changsha City - Mawangdui Fruit Wholesale Market and Hongxing Fruit Wholesale Market. Mawangdui Market is located in the city center, and Hongxing Market is located in the south of the city. We visited 31 stalls in Mawangdui Market and 22 stalls in Hongxing Market. There are many varieties of fruits in these two markets, especially the fresh fruits such as watermelon, mango, pineapple, loquat, early plum, apple, and pear. There is a large amount of local navel oranges and pomeloes. There are also some Shatian pomelo, ponkan, rock sugar orange, and sugar cane. wait. The two wholesale markets have yet to see Xinhui orange sales stalls. The local wholesale price of navel orange is 0.5-0.7 yuan/jin, the wholesale price of pomelo is 0.4 yuan/jin, and the seasonal fresh fruit watermelon is 2.0 yuan/jin. After local fruit dealers tasted our Xinhui oranges, they agreed that the taste and sweetness were good, but the fruit was too small, not a brand name, and not competitive in the market.
(Two) From the morning of the 16th to 3 pm, a survey was conducted on the two largest fruit wholesale markets in Wuhan - Huangjiadun Huazhong Fruit Wholesale Market in Hankou District and Shahu Fruit Wholesale Market in Wuchang District. The fruit varieties in the two markets are basically similar to those in Changsha. The difference is that Chaozhou mandarins and pomeloes are easy to sell in these two markets and have large sales volumes.
The price of Chaozhou oranges reaches 1.3 yuan/jin, and the price of pomelo reaches 0.5 yuan/jin. The leading fruits in the market are still apples and watermelons. The price of watermelon has reached 2.1 yuan/jin. There are Gongcheng ponkans for sale at the Shahu fruit market, but the brand is marked as Yongchun tangerines, and the price is 1.0 yuan/jin. Gongcheng persimmons also appear on the market, and the price is about 1.3 yuan/jin, but Xinhui has not yet been seen on the market. Orange sales. After the local fruit merchants tasted our sample fruits, they all thought they tasted good. However, the fruits did not look good and were not of high quality, and the skin was difficult to peel. It was suggested that we should grade the packaging and wax it. At the same time, they were willing to help us test-market the fruit. Boss Yuhui planned to ask his brother to go to Gongcheng to buy a truck of 20 tons of sample fruit and go back to Wuhan to try selling it to see if it could be accepted by the public. Open it market.
(Wednesday) Arrive in Zhengzhou on the evening of the 16th. On the morning of the 17th, accompanied by Zhang Jiandong, director of the local market management department, an investigation was conducted at the Zhengzhou Huazhong Logistics Center Fruit Market. Since this market is in the off-season, the variety of fruits is obviously not as rich as the markets in Changsha and Wuhan. Mainly apples, grapefruits, pears, rock sugar oranges, mango, pineapple, coconut, watermelon and other southern fruits occupy half of the market. There are no Xinhui oranges on the market. Learn about the situation from the boss of Shi Jianhua, the largest local seller. Our Xinhui oranges taste good, but the fruit size is too small, the packaging is poor, and they have no market appeal. The boss suggested grading packaging, using different types of cartons, not too big, and waxing packaging to improve the grade of the fruit. In the near future, he plans to send people to Gongcheng to see the results, try out the car and go back to sell it.
(Thursday) Arrive in Yueyang City on the evening of the 17th. A survey of the Huaguoshan Fruit Wholesale Market in Yueyang City on the morning of the 18th found that the fruit situation in this market is similar to that of the Mawangdui Market in Changsha, and the prices of varieties are comparable. I saw Gongcheng Xinhui oranges in this market, but they were sold as rock sugar oranges and were shipped there by Pan Pingyou, the owner of Limu Shangxian. The selling price is 0.5 to 0.75 yuan/jin. It has just entered the market and the sales volume is not very large. Local bosses are also planning to go to Gongcheng to purchase fruits and want to open the Yueyang market.
From the investigation of the seven major fruit wholesale markets in the four cities, it can be seen that Xinhui orange fruits in our county have not yet opened the market in northern cities. Due to the large amount of navel oranges on the market, pomelo and rock sugar orange fruits are abundant, and these foreign fruits are large, well-packaged and easy for the public to accept. In addition, seasonal fruits (such as watermelon, pineapple, banana, early plum, loquat, etc.) are impacting In the orange market, Xinhui Orange in our county has lost the opportunity to occupy the market. Faced with the current market situation, oranges must be sold in a multi-faceted manner. We must not only consolidate the developed southern market, but also strive to develop the northern market, stimulate the eastern and western markets, form a comprehensive sales situation, and promote fruit sales throughout the county.
3. Suggestions
Fruit sales and planting are complementary to each other. Only when you plant well can you sell well, but the key lies in the demand of the market. Only when there is a market can it bring about Only by improving the efficiency can the enthusiasm of fruit farmers be increased. In view of the current fruit sales situation in our county, the following suggestions are hereby put forward:
(1) Change your thinking and improve your awareness. You must have a sense of urgency in sales and understand the severity of the sales situation.
Currently, there are still 42,000 tons of oranges that have not been sold in our county. The shelf life of the fruits is getting shorter and shorter. When the weather changes, the quality of the fruits will be affected. Nowadays, fresh fruits have the greatest impact on the market, which has a great impact on the new development of our county. Huicheng sales also bring many disadvantages. Therefore, our management departments at all levels should raise their awareness, have a sense of urgency in selling, and correctly understand that unsold fruits will bring huge losses to fruit farmers, dampen their enthusiasm for planting, and cause social instability. Therefore, we must work together and find ways to sell the fruits of our county in the shortest possible time.
(2) Don’t be reluctant to sell. The government and relevant departments should strengthen publicity through various channels to guide fruit farmers to overcome the concept of not selling at low prices. Do not insist on not selling at a certain price. As long as there is a suitable price (price based on quality), you can sell. Selling is better than not selling. as well. At the same time, we must understand that the current demand for oranges by citizens is dispensable and is not the only fruit needed. If they are not sold, oranges will become garbage.
(3) Pay attention to the packaging effect and sell fruits by grade. You must work hard on dressing up (red packaging looks best), and it is best to carefully select, grade, clean, wax, finely package, and green package the fruits. In this way, the price can be increased and sales can be promoted.
The government and relevant business departments should provide timely information, strengthen technical guidance, and correctly guide the masses to grade and package fruits for sale.
(4) Attract bosses through various channels. We must give full play to the role of sales associations and major sales players, achieve "go out, invite in", strengthen the relationship between bosses, and don't wait at home for people to buy fruit.
(5) Brand issues. It is recommended that the government organizes relevant departments to register trademarks and produce fruit waxes, and at the same time organize bosses to organize fruit exhibitions and sales to build the Gongcheng fruit brand. Without forming a unique brand of their own, if they are placed at the same stall, ordinary consumers will only decide whether to buy based on price and shape. Few consumers can distinguish the quality of fruits from bad. The market for traditional Xinhui oranges is not good, so they can be sold under other people's brands (such as Bingtang oranges).
(6) Increase efforts to attract investment and develop leading enterprises. When a large amount of commercial fruits cannot be sold, the deep processing of fruits is particularly important. Through attracting investment, we will develop leading enterprises and realize the integration of production, processing and sales.
(7) Strengthen scientific and technological management and protection, improve fruit quality, enhance market competitiveness, and enhance the concept of green food consumption. In order to promote sales and ensure fruit quality, efforts must be made in planting management and maintenance. Reasonable flower and fruit thinning should be carried out from the flowering period. When using pesticides and fertilizers, fertilizers and fertilizers should be applied in accordance with standardized, pollution-free and green food requirements. When using pesticides, farmyard manure and organic ecological fertilizers are often used to ensure the quality of the fruit. Fruit Market Survey Report Part 2
1. Survey Overview
From March to April 20XX, I conducted a survey on fruit stalls, shops around the school, and mobile vendors in the school. Price Survey.
2. Survey objectives
1. The prices of various fruits generally fluctuate.
2. Reasons for the fluctuations in prices of various fruits.
3. Investigation methods
1. Interview method. Interview the owners of various fruit stalls and learn from them about the price changes of various fruits and the reasons they understand.
2. Observation method. Observe consumer actions in response to changes in fruit prices.
4. Survey results
1. Price change phenomenon
From the above table, the following conclusions can be drawn. In the short term, first of all, although the price of apples is rising steadily, we know that apples are a popular fruit and can be bought all year round, and the price will not rise too much or Decline, so I speculate that Apple’s price should fluctuate between 6 and 9 yuan.
Besides, the price of bananas was around 4 yuan on March 14, but as time goes by, the price shows a downward trend, but after all, its value is still there, so the price should not be low in the short term. It is over 2.5 yuan, but if bananas are put on the market collectively in early summer, the price will definitely drop even lower, at least lower than 2.5 yuan.
Next is strawberries. March is the season for strawberries to go on the market. Compared with the strawberries that come to market earlier during the Spring Festival, the quantity is larger, and the price has also dropped a bit. However, the price of strawberries has always been relatively high, so it has been hovering between 10 and 11. Finally, there is watermelon. You and I both know that the hottest summer is the season when watermelons are on the market in large quantities. However, in spring there are also some early-produced watermelons flowing on the market. Although the unit price seems to be only 3 yuan per pound, which is cheaper than apples and pears, but Watermelons are sold by the piece, each weighing at least 3 or 4 pounds, which is only a dozen yuan. Moreover, the price of watermelon in summer is generally only 1 or 2 yuan. So in general, the price of watermelon is still relatively high. Compared with the same period last year, the prices of these four fruits are higher than last year.
2. Analysis of reasons for price changes.
Short-term reasons (1). The prices of seasonal fruits such as apples and pears do not change much. Occasionally, a little fluctuation may be caused by changes in supplier prices. Also because it is a four-season fruit, the market demand does not change much. There have been no major natural disasters in apple and pear producing areas this year, so the supply is relatively stable throughout the year. In this case, the relationship between supply and demand does not have much influence on the price changes of apples and pears.
(2) For bananas and watermelons, March is the season with less market volume.
The supply is less and cannot meet the market demand, causing prices to rise. As the old saying goes: rare things are valuable. The price has naturally gone up.
(3) The weather in Chongqing changes rapidly. To use a phrase, it is "randomly played all year round". This will also have a certain impact on the price of fruits under certain circumstances. The temperature was relatively low around March 14, ranging from 9 degrees to 17 degrees. Bananas and pears, as cooling fruits, should not sell well around March 14. This article also applies to the summer-relieving fruit - watermelon. The weather will be relatively fine around April 7 and April 11, with the highest temperature reaching 22 degrees. Therefore, the sales of these four fruits have increased.
For long-term reasons, my country’s prices have been on an upward trend in the past two years, which of course includes the rise in fruit prices.
(1) Labor costs are rising. According to relevant data, the cost of labor is also rising. According to statistics from the central bank, employee wages increased by 14% in 2010 alone. The growth, logistics, and sales of fruits all require manual input, so the price of fruits has also increased.
(2) Energy prices are rising. No. 93 gasoline has exceeded the 8 yuan mark, and oil prices are still on an upward trend. This is also a big cost pressure for the fruit industry that requires long-distance transportation.
5. Experience
With the improvement of people’s living standards, people are becoming more and more inseparable from fruits. People’s understanding of fruits is also getting deeper and deeper. Now there is another Awareness is at least one fruit a day. Based on the above reasons, the fruit industry will also have great development. But fruit prices still need to be stable. To be stable, supply and demand must be equalized, the impact of natural disasters must be reduced, and the price impact of labor, energy, etc. must be controlled. Fruit Market Survey Report Part 3
1. Market Prospect Analysis:
(1) General Background: With the popularization of smart phones and the development of mobile Internet, mobile phones have become an integral part of people’s lives. A very important part is that mobile phones are no longer communication products in the traditional sense of the past, but carry more of people's entertainment, consumption, business, office and other activities. Against this background, the mobile e-commerce industry has grown rapidly, and users’ mobile shopping habits are gradually developing. With the development of the Internet towards localized e-commerce, the connection between information and physical objects, and between online and offline has become closer and closer. O2O has brought e-commerce websites to a new stage.
(2) According to iCTR’s online survey data, in the past six months, 59% of the interviewed netizens have used mobile phones to shop, and 20% of the interviewed netizens have used tablets to shop. It can be seen that, At least 60% of the interviewed netizens have had mobile shopping experience, and Chinese netizens have gradually developed mobile shopping habits. More and more consumers are beginning to experience the joy of shopping through mobile e-commerce.
(3) The first year of fresh food e-commerce: 20xx is known as the first year of fresh food e-commerce in China. A large number of e-commerce companies have joined the field of fresh food. The joining process of the main large-scale e-commerce is as follows:
1. On May 31, 20xx, SF Express’s e-commerce business SF Select was launched
2. In early June 20xx, Amazon also began to enter fruit e-commerce.
3. In July 20xx, JD.com officially launched the fresh food channel
4. On April 7, 20xx, the online supermarket No. 1 announced its entry into the fresh food category. Its " "No. 1 Orchard" is officially launched.
5. On July 2, 20xx, Tmall also officially announced its trial of fresh food cold chain logistics. The first phase will provide supporting cold chain services for "fresh fruits".
2. Market Dilemma
(1) Problems with the product itself. Survey data shows that 91.79% of people are most concerned about the quality of fruits, and 76.51% are concerned about the shelf life of fruits.
(2) Logistics and distribution are the biggest constraints for fresh food e-commerce. Cold chain is a basic requirement for fresh food e-commerce. Survey data shows that 90.77% of people said that the biggest problem encountered when purchasing online is damage during transportation; 85.13% of people said that the fruit is not fresh.
(3) Inventory management problems. Since the shelf life of fresh food is only a few days, the loss rate is high.
(4) Consumer acceptance.
In the survey data, 87.69% of people have never bought fruits online. Users are accustomed to going to vegetable markets or vendors to buy fruits. Their consumption habits need to be cultivated, so the user scale is still small.
3. Case Analysis (Object: Tiantian Orchard)

(3) Tiantian Orchard also has a purchasing team of ten people, who are responsible for flying overseas to track the production process of fruit farms and make feasibility analysis of local weather, yield, and quality. Tiantian Orchard also has a purchasing team of ten people, who are responsible for flying overseas to track the production process of fruit farms and make feasibility analysis of local weather, yield, and quality. Buyers and sellers can coordinate the output of fruit production based on actual domestic demand and strengthen the interaction between supply and demand.
5. Disadvantages
(1) “Compared with delivery, it is not as fast as Yi Xun; compared with the condition of the delivery staff, the systematic service and logistics coverage, it is not as good as SF Express ;
(2) In terms of the loss rate of goods, online has not yet achieved the advantages of offline. "Tiantian Orchard must think about how to keep up with the supply of goods, transportation, quality control and other aspects. Demand.
4. Overview:
Based on the comprehensive survey data and the above analysis report, compared with the mature fields of e-commerce, the reason why fresh fruits have developed slowly is The main reason is that it is an emerging industry, and there are still many areas that people have not yet been able to solve perfectly. If people can solve all the problems they face, then fruit e-commerce will be a very promising industry.
5. Suggestions
(1) Establishing a supply chain is the foundation of fresh food e-commerce.
(2) Developing cold chain is the foundation of fresh food e-commerce. direction.
(3) Professional operation is the support of fresh food e-commerce.
(4) Highlighting price and characteristics is the driving force of fresh food e-commerce.
p>
(5) Accelerate the formulation of fruit-related standards, promote green fruit certification and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) certification, promote standardized production and implement brand strategies, and gradually realize the standardization of major varieties from fruit to packaging, focusing on Improve the environment for implementing e-commerce. Fruit Market Survey Report 4
With the continuous development of our country's economy, the actual income of our residents will increase significantly, people's purchasing power will also gradually increase, and fruits will also increase in popularity. It plays an increasingly important role in people's lives, helping the general public to consume fruits and increase fruit sales.
1. Basic situation of the survey
This survey was conducted by us. Seven members of the team completed the survey together. The survey included items such as monthly living expenses, fruit consumption per time, fruit purchasing location, frequency of fruit purchasing, and various requirements for fruits. The survey was distributed online by the investigators. It was conducted in the form of questionnaires. 100 questionnaires were distributed and 100 were recovered. There were 100 valid questionnaires and the questionnaire validity rate was 100%.
The team finally summarized and analyzed the survey data and came up with a series of survey results.
2. Survey data analysis
1. Analysis of the gender of the respondents
Among the 100 valid questionnaires, 22 of the respondents were male , there are 78 women. It is obvious that women prefer fruits, which is also in line with objective reality.
2. Analysis of the extent to which respondents like to eat fruits
Figure 2: Bar chart of the extent to which respondents like to eat fruits
From From Figure 2, we can see that most people like to eat fruits, so the prospects of the fruit market are still bright.
3. Analysis of the season in which respondents buy fruits
Figure 3: Bar chart of the season in which respondents buy fruits
In In the survey, 32% of consumers would choose to buy fruits in summer, but this does not mean that they will not buy any fruits in the other three seasons. 21% said it does not matter. This shows that some people will not be affected by the change of seasons in purchasing fruits. Moreover, there are special fruits in every season, and now that science and technology are advanced, out-of-season fruits are no longer strange. With the improvement of consumers' economic level, fruits have become a necessity in daily life.
4. Analysis of fruits frequently purchased by respondents
Figure 4: Bar chart of fruits frequently purchased by respondents
Consumers’ opinions on Fruit consumption is basically dominated by common products, as shown in Figure 4, 24% of consumers choose apples, 12% choose bananas, 14% choose oranges and pineapples, 8% choose mangoes, and 10% of consumers choose pears, and the remaining 18% choose others. This shows that the more common fruits are more acceptable to consumers, have certain advantages in terms of freshness and price, and thus have a larger local market share.
5. Analysis of the respondents’ weekly living expenses for buying fruits
Figure 5: Histogram of the respondents’ weekly living expenses for buying fruits
From Figure 5, we can see that different working groups have different purchasing levels. Those with higher consumption levels spend more on fruits. 50% of consumers answered that the weekly fruit consumption is 10-20 yuan, and 34% of consumers answered that the weekly fruit consumption is 20-40 yuan.
This can be seen: the economic income of this group of people It is better and has higher requirements on the quality of life; the remaining two items account for a smaller proportion.
6. Analysis of the prices of surrounding fruit shops
Figure 6: Pie chart of the prices of surrounding fruit shops
It can be seen from Figure 6 According to the results, 48% of consumers think the price is average, 47% think the price is too high, and only a few consumers think it is too low. Nearly half of them think the price is too high, which may be related to the season and the customer base of our fruit shop.
7. Analysis of the factors that respondents value most when purchasing fruits
Figure 7: Bar chart of the factors that respondents value most when purchasing fruits
p>
From Figure 7, we can see that 50% of consumers value the freshness of fruits most, 35% of consumers value price, 13% of consumers value the environment, and 2% of consumers value service attitude. It can be seen that freshness is the first factor consumers consider when buying fruits, followed by price and environment.
8. Analysis of where respondents generally choose to buy fruits
Figure 7: Bar chart of where respondents generally choose to buy fruits
Figure 8 shows that 41% of consumers choose supermarkets, 24% of consumers choose fruit shops, 18% of consumers choose fruit markets, and 17% of consumers choose fruit stalls. Most consumers choose to buy in supermarkets and fruit shops. This is mainly because supermarkets and fruit shops have good environments, relatively large and complete varieties of fruits, a wide range of choices, formal purchase channels, and guaranteed fruit quality. The main reason why consumers choose to buy at fruit stalls is because it is more convenient for consumers to buy some fruits when they get off work or when grocery shopping.
At the same time, we also learned from this questionnaire that the quality of fruits accounts for 52% and price accounts for 25% in attracting consumers to purchase fruits. Generally, consumers think that the price of fruits is too high, and lower prices are more acceptable to consumers.
When purchasing fruits, consumers find that there are problems with the quality of the fruits. For example, most of the fruits cannot be guaranteed to be fresh. It may be that they are not sold out on the same day, or the preservation measures are not in place. In order to increase profits, some fruit shops purchase Buying out-of-season fruits in a hurry is very harmful to consumers' health.
Also, it can be seen from the questionnaire that "if a door-to-door fruit shop were opened near you", 40% and 37% of consumers would visit it frequently or occasionally, and only 2% of consumers will not go, and 21% of consumers do not care. It can be seen from this that consumers hope that fruit stores can provide door-to-door delivery services if possible. This is also a business opportunity.
3. Summary and Suggestions
Summary
From the data in our questionnaire chart, we can know that more than half of consumers will buy fruits and the frequency Still very frequent. And most of them like some common, reasonably priced, good quality, fresh fruits. Therefore, merchants can consider these aspects and maybe increase sales. Moreover, most consumers now regularly eat various fruits, and more than half of them believe that fruits are necessary nutrients for the human body. Therefore, the market sales prospects of fruits are very good.
Suggestions
1. Adjust the structure of similar fruits, rationally develop early-maturing and late-maturing varieties, and avoid the concentration of fruits during the maturity period, which leads to a high concentration of fruits on the market, making the seasonal supply of fruits greater than The demand is very serious and fruit sales are not smooth.
2. Vigorously develop the fruit processing industry to increase the added value of fruits, thereby increasing the sales of fruits, reducing the surplus of fresh fruits on the market, and increasing farmers' income.
3. Develop the fruit storage industry, adjust the seasonal supply and demand changes of fruits, and increase the income of fruit farmers.
Fourth, speed up the information sensitivity of the domestic market, regulate the smooth flow of fruits in various parts of the country, reduce regional price differences of fruits, and benefit both buyers and sellers.
