Why did Ashima cigarettes stop production?

Ashima, formerly produced by Yuxi Cigarette Factory, has been discontinued due to trademark issues. The Yunnan Tourism Bureau registered Ashima as a tourism trademark. In order to avoid infringement, it stopped producing domestic Ashima cigarettes. However, Hongta Group has authorized a cigarette factory in Hong Kong to produce this brand of cigarettes with a peacock pattern, commonly known as Peacock Ashima. There are two types, one is a gold box and the other is a white box for slim cigarettes.

Gaia sold in Guangyuan Shima is jointly produced by Shifang Tobacco Factory. This year, the full-year contract was completed at the end of November and beginning of December and there is no additional plan.
