Authorized by the British Royal Family The British have always been known for their pickiness and emphasis on taste. They promote a high-quality gentleman's life, and the British royal family has taken this spirit of pursuing perfect quality to the extreme. The United Kingdom is a constitutional monarchy. Although the political power of the king has been reduced to symbolic significance after the establishment of the constitutional monarchy, it is precisely this symbolic significance that allows the royal family to retain many special privileges, such as the canonization of nobles, and the British royal family's A certification system implemented to define the quality of goods - Royal Warrant. "Royal Warrant" is a certificate issued by the British royal family to relevant companies or individuals to show that they are satisfied with their goods and services. The brands that have been authorized by the British royal family to become royal items have all stood out through the test of time. Burberry is included in clothing, Bentley is used in cars, Derby is used in porcelain, and Parker pens are used in pens. Most people may think that many products become brands because they have received royal authorization, but this is not the case. For some products, the Royal Warrant is simply an endorsement of their consistent quality over the years.
When we talk about the Royal Warrant from the British Royal Family, we don’t mean it lightly. First of all, under the British system, not everything used by the British royal family is qualified to claim to be "royal". Who is qualified and who is not qualified must be decided by the royal family, and the decision is never made verbally, but A written letter of appointment must be issued. Royal warrants must be issued under legitimate business relationships. For nearly half a century, only the three most important members of the British royal family have the right to issue "royal warrants", namely Queen Elizabeth, the Duke of Edinburgh and the Duke of Edinburgh. Prince Charles. So, who is eligible to receive a royal commission? Perhaps based on the principle of trade supremacy in building a country based on industry, only manufacturers and traders are eligible to obtain royal warrants. Lawyers, accountants, or other individuals who only provide services, even if they also serve the royal family, are definitely not eligible. Obtained a royal commission. About 800 companies or individuals around the world have "Royal Warrant" certificates, covering everything from computers, phones, dog food, household cleaners, etc. Parker Pen is fortunate to be among them and has maintained a good cooperative relationship with the British royal family for a long time. As early as 1962, Parker was designated as the pen and ink supplier to the British Royal Family. In 2002, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's accession to the throne, the Parker Century Queen Pen came into being, with 2,500 pieces issued worldwide. The cap and body of this pen are both made of 23K solid gold and are engraved with an excerpt from the Proclamation of Succession. The top of the pen also bears the official logo of the 50th anniversary celebration. If Cartier, as the supplier of jewelry to the British royal family, is "the jeweler of emperors, the emperor of jewelers", then Parker is well-deserved "the emperor's pen, the emperor of pens" and is always favored by celebrities such as presidents. Parker pens are not only a favorite of the British royal family, they are also a favorite of Malaysian leaders. The first prime minister of Malaysia used a Parker 61 pen to solemnly sign the independence agreement, and Parker was also launched on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the founding of Malaysia* ** Edition 61 fountain pen is produced as a commemoration, leaving behind a good story in the history of fountain pens. Maintenance and Repair Although Parker pens are of excellent quality and do not require careful maintenance, if you are not careful, a good pen will be damaged early. Therefore, for your own convenience and longer life, it is recommended that you still take care of it. The maintenance method is very simple, that is: soak it before use so that the ink does not mix, and clean it regularly. Soak it before use. This method can make the pen tip flow out of water more smoothly. The specific method is: rinse the new pen with clean water, fill it with clean water, and soak the pen tip in the water for a day. (Note: Don’t throw the entire pen into the water! What is soaked is the inside of the pen, not the outer shell.) Take it out after a day, drain the water, and then you can fill it with ink. 2. Put the pen cap on easily. After writing, fasten the pen cap easily. This can protect the pen tip from dry ink affecting writing. If the pen falls off, the pen cap can protect the pen tip well. It is best to buckle the pen cap on the end of the pen when writing. In this way, if the pen falls, the tail of the pen is heavier and the pen tip will not hit the ground first, which is also a way to protect the pen tip. (It is best not to buckle pens with metal cases like this, as it can easily wear the outer shell coating).
3. Don’t be greedy for thin strokes and write against the tip of the pen. If you like fine strokes, then buy an extra thin pen. Never write with the tip of the pen backwards. Many people write backwards to draw thin pictures. The result is: when writing backwards, the pen tip scratches the paper badly, making writing very uncomfortable. The pen tip will become thicker and thicker, and the pen tip of poor quality will crack. 4. Avoid scratches caused by friction with hard objects. Pens are used to write on paper. Do not use them to scratch on boards or walls. When writing on paper, it is also best to put a notebook underneath. 5. Clean regularly. If it is not used for more than a week, it is best to clean the pen. Even if you use it all the time, it is recommended to clean it once a month. This ensures that the pen is not clogged with ink. Just use clean water to wash the pen. 6. Use of ink If you don’t want your beloved Parker pen to be ruined by inferior ink, it’s best to use ink from the same brand. Good ink won't harm your pen. You don't have to absorb too much ink at a time, as some pens will overflow when full. Don't mix different inks together, as this will hurt the pen the most.
