Shek Kip Mei Longan is a variety of longan, which is called Shi Xia for short, also known as Shi Ye, Crispy Meat, Shiyuan and so on. There are three strains: yellow shell stone brand, green shell stone brand and palace powder shell stone brand. This variety is the main cultivated variety in Guangdong and Guangxi, and originated from Pingzhou, Nanhai, Guangdong Province. It has a long cultivation history and is one of the best fresh food products. In the Pearl River Delta region of Guangdong Province, this variety matures in early and middle August, and belongs to early maturity variety.
