My hometown is in Shanxi, which is a place with beautiful scenery and many places of interest. Although my hometown is not a prosperous metropolis, I like it very much.

I grew up in Shenzhen. Although I was not born and raised in Shenzhen, I know my hometown very well. Shanxi Province is located on the eastern flank of the Loess Plateau in western North China. It has the towering Taihang Mountain as a natural barrier to the east and is adjacent to Hebei Province; to the west and south is the raging Yellow River, facing Shaanxi and Henan Provinces; to the north is the Great Wall and adjacent to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

There are many specialties in our hometown, including Shanxi mature vinegar, Qinzhou yellow millet, red dates... Shanxi vinegar has the reputation of "the best vinegar in the world", and Shanxi mature vinegar has the advantages of ordinary vinegar. It has the characteristics of acidity, strong taste and long taste. At the same time, it also has the characteristics of fragrant, lingering and non-sedimentary. In addition, the longer the aged acid is stored, the more fragrant, sour and delicious it will be. I think the most delicious thing is garlic soaked in vinegar. The longer the garlic is soaked in vinegar, the more delicious it will be. If the dumplings are dipped in it, the more delicious it will be. The millet in our hometown is also very famous, especially Qinzhou yellow millet. In the southeastern Shanxi area, there is a popular proverb: "Golden beads, the king of golden beads. Golden beads are not replaced by Qinzhou yellow. They are small in size and golden yellow. They are called "golden beads" by the locals. They are the most special among the millet family. Such varieties would not be exchanged for real gold beads, which shows how precious they are.

There is one thing that I will never forget. One year, I went back to my hometown and went out to play with my friends. When I came back, my grandma was frightened by my appearance. My face, clothes and hands were covered with dust, and I looked very embarrassed. Even I was shocked. It's very clean in Shenzhen, but not so clean in my hometown. Although I was dirty, I had a great time. Because I only go back to my hometown once every few years, I cherish my time there very much, and I also love my hometown very much!

Ordinary places can give me different memories; people’s simple clothes are the most beautiful colors in my opinion, because I love my hometown - Shanxi.
