Toyo Animation Company, founded in 1948, is an old Japanese animation production company. Japan Animation Co., Ltd. was originally established as a company name, and later changed its name to Nippon Donghua English Co., Ltd. on 1952. After 1956 was acquired by Dongying, it became its animation department and changed its name to Dongying Animation Co., Ltd. From 1998 to 10, Dongying Animation Co., Ltd. changed its name to Dongying Animation Co., Ltd., with the same Chinese translation.
