Introduction to Yang Deling

Yang Deling, (1859-1945), courtesy name Zijiu, was a native of Xiazha Township, Xiaoyi County, Shanxi Province. At the age of 14, he went to a winery in Fenzhou Prefecture as an apprentice. At the age of 18, he was able to act as the foreman, and at the age of 21, he was promoted to the position of third shopkeeper. In the 4th year of the Republic of China, Baoquan Yi Winery was taken over by Wang Xieshu's third brother, Wang Xieqing, and the name was changed to Quanyong. Yang Deling, who had been the general manager of Baoquan Yiyuan, was hired as the manager. In January 1919, Jinyu Fen Liquor Co., Ltd. was officially established in Taiyuan. The mode of operation is that Yiquanyong supplies the wine and Jinyu Company distributes it. The managers are all served by Yang Deling. In 1924, Yang Deling had the foresight to take the lead in registering the first trademark in China's liquor industry - the Sorghum Suifen Liquor trademark.
