The business license of individual industrial and commercial households is valid for a maximum of 4 years; The registration authority may verify the validity period of the business license according to the use period of the business premises of individual industrial and commercial households, and the validity period shall be at least 6 months. Individual industrial and commercial households shall apply to the registration authority for renewal of their business licenses within 1 month before the expiration of their business licenses, and the registration authority shall timely renew them according to law.
Citizens who have the ability to operate shall be registered by the administrative department for industry and commerce, obtain the business license of individual industrial and commercial households and carry out business activities according to law.

Individual industrial and commercial households shall apply to the registration authority for annual inspection every year, and the registration authority shall verify the registered items of individual industrial and commercial households and the operation of the previous year in accordance with the Measures for Inspection of Individual Industrial and Commercial Households.
Individual industrial and commercial households that change their registration involves matters recorded in their business licenses shall renew their business licenses. If the business license of individual industrial and commercial households is lost or damaged, it shall be declared invalid in the publicly issued newspaper and apply to the registration authority for a replacement or renewal.
