Isuzu Jidōsha Kabushiki Kaisha (Isuzu Jidōsha Kabushiki Kaisha) is a Japanese automobile manufacturing company. Its head office is in Tokyo, Japan. It integrates manufacturing and assembly. On February 25, 2004, two models of Japanese Isuzu heavy-duty vehicle chassis (CXH50S, CXH50T) were revoked by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine due to potential safety hazards in the steering system. After the mandatory product certification certificate was issued and the import was banned, it attracted the attention of domestic media and automobile companies.
Why did Japan's Isuzu have such serious quality problems with the heavy-duty vehicle chassis it supplied to China? I browsed the Japanese Isuzu website, but there were no Japanese CXH50S/T products on the screen.
However, on the websites of a few domestic modification factories such as Hunan Sany Heavy Industry and Liaoning Hainuo, such advertisements were found: "CXH50S reinforced Category II special purpose produced by Isuzu Motors, the top heavy-duty vehicle company in Japan." The automobile chassis has advanced technical performance and has good power, maneuverability, comfort, economy and reliability of use."
Are Isuzu heavy-duty vehicles really so perfect? The fact that Isuzu is banned from import makes it impossible to justify such an advertisement. The safety risks of imported Isuzu chassis are worrying.
