Du Shikui made it after years of painstaking research and deliberate innovation based on the traditional beef cooking techniques of past dynasties. Weihui Duji Beef is made from 1 to 3-year-old cattle in northern Henan, with dozens of precious Chinese herbal medicines as seasonings, scientific formula, careful processing, and multiple processes such as disinfection, pickling, and steaming. The color is delicious, the outside and inside are the same, the meat is tender and fragrant, and the taste is through the bone marrow. It not only retains the traditional roasted beef flavor, but also has a unique and pure taste. In terms of nutrition, it is also a high-protein, low-fat, and nutritious product. Weihui Duji beef was registered as Shikui brand beef by the State Trademark Office in 1998. Shikui brand beef won the gold medal of Chinese famous snacks in the third Chinese famous snacks certification competition. In 2000 and 2003, it was named Henan Famous Food and Xinxiang Famous Food by the Famous Food, Famous Teacher and Famous Store Certification and Naming Organizing Committee of Henan Province and Xinxiang City respectively. It won the honorary title of National Famous Halal Food at the First National Halal Food Expo. Comrade Du Jiacai, the successor of Shikui brand beef, was awarded the honorary title of Henan Master of Beef Steaming, the only one in the province, in the first Henan Cuisine Master Competition.
