Do I have to apply for trademark registration after using the trademark copyright registration?
generally, copyright registration is not compulsory after trademark registration, and the trademark owner can decide whether to register or not. Copyright registration implements the principle of voluntary registration, and the author also enjoys copyright without registration, but it has no effect of registration and publicity.

Legal basis

Article 2 of the Trial Measures for Voluntary Registration of Works shall be subject to voluntary registration. No matter whether the work is registered or not, the copyright obtained by the author or other copyright owners according to law shall not be affected. Article 4 Applicants for the registration of works shall be authors, other citizens enjoying copyright, legal persons or unincorporated units, exclusive rights owners and their agents. Article 9 After a registered work is verified by the work registration authority, the work registration authority shall issue a work registration certificate. The work registration certificate shall be made by the registration authority according to the samples attached to these Measures. The verification period of the registration authority is one month, which is counted from the date when the registration authority receives all the application materials submitted by the applicant.
