In September 215, Synbiotics International Holdings Limited (referred to as Synbiotics) defeated Shanghai Pharmaceutical Group and Hony Capital, and acquired Swisse)83% Wellness Pty, a famous Australian health care brand, for 1.67 billion Australian dollars (about 7.6 billion RMB at that time).
The second acquisition was in December 216, and Synbiotics acquired the remaining 17% shares of Swisse for A $333 million (then about RMB 1.59 billion).
