There are two main flower markets in Kunming, Yunnan, which are the largest flower producing areas in China at present. One is Dounan Flower Market in Kunming, and the other is Kunming International Flower Auction and Trading Center.

Dounan in Kunming is close to the east bank of Dianchi Lake, and enjoys the title of "Jindou South". Dounan Flower Market has developed into "the largest fresh cut flower trading market in China and even Asia", which is a famous flower.

Kunming International Flower Auction Trading Center Co., Ltd. (KIFA for short), with the strong support of governments at all levels, relevant departments and the United Nations International Trade Center (ITC), was established by KIFA in Dounan Town, Chenggong, Kunming. At present, it is a key project of China's western development and Yunnan's flower industry development.

Both markets are located in Dounan Town, Chenggong County, Yunnan Province, with a distance of several hundred meters. After purchasing flowers in these two markets, domestic and foreign florists and professional flower agents package them in different levels, and consign them to various modes of transportation such as aviation, railway and postal services for sale throughout the country and even all over the world.
