after opening the CDR software, press CTRL+11 to bring up the character window, select the font "MS Gothic" in the font list, and find the circled r in the character list box below. if you are in the text editing state, double-click the circled r in the character list box to insert it as text. if you drag the circled r directly from the list box to the drawing page, the object will be inserted.
