Anhui’s famous wines include Gujing Gong Liquor, Kouzijiao Liquor and Golden Seed Liquor.
1. Gujing tribute wine
Gujing tribute wine is a traditional famous wine in Bozhou. Produced in Bozhou City, Anhui Province, Daqu Luzhou-flavor liquor is a specialty of the Bozhou area. It is known as the "peony in wine" and is known as one of the eight famous liquors in China.
Gujing Gong Liquor has a very long history in the history of Chinese winemaking. Its origins began in the first year of Jian'an (196) when Cao Cao donated the "Jiu Ying Chun Liquor" produced in his hometown of Bozhou and the brewing method to Emperor Xian of the Han Dynasty. Gujing Gong Liquor has won the gold medal in the National Liquor Appraisal Competition four times and won the title of China's Famous Liquor. In 1988, it topped the list at the 13th Paris International Food Fair. The trademark of Gujing Gongjiu is "vintage puree".
2. Kouzijiao Liquor
Kouzijiao Liquor is the representative of Chinese mixed-flavor liquor.
Kouzijiao has been brewing for a long time, and the wine culture has a long history. As far back as the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, the town of Kouzi formed by the intersection of Suishui River and Xihe River had abundant grains, convenient transportation, and the gradual rise of the winemaking industry. It was named after the place. People habitually refer to the wine produced in Kouzi Town as "Kouzi wine". The princes of the Song Dynasty made a blood alliance, and the wine they drank was the Kouzi wine at that time.
On November 8, 2002, the former General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine approved the implementation of regional product protection for “Kouzijiao Wine”.
3. Yingjia tribute wine
Yingjia tribute wine is a specialty of Huoshan County, Anhui Province, and a national geographical indication product of China.
Huoshan County is located in the hinterland of the Dabie Mountains and is a "National Ecological Demonstration County" with a forest coverage rate of more than 75%. The ecological resources and ecological raw materials of the Dabie Mountains provide a superior ecological production area environment for the brewing of Yingjia tribute wine. All the water used for brewing Yingjia Gong Liquor is fresh water from the source of Dabie Mountain, which makes Yingjia Gong Liquor have the characteristics of elegant aroma, strong flavor with sauce, sweetness and refreshing taste.
On September 3, 2007, the former General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine approved the implementation of geographical indication product protection for "Yingjia Tribute Wine".
