ThinkPad is a Lenovo brand.
ThinkPad was originally a notebook computer produced by IBM, and now it is owned by Lenovo. It was acquired by Lenovo in 25, and the ThinkPad trademark is owned by Lenovo. The design of ThinkPad was inspired by the traditional lunch box. The original design work of ThinkPad was undertaken by IBM's Daiwa Design Center in Japan. ThinkPad's pure black appearance is inspired by a traditional Japanese lacquered lunch box: Shokado bento, which is all black and is often used for lunch.
ThinkPad has always maintained a classic black appearance and has its own unique views on technologies, such as TrackPoint (pointing stick, commonly known as Little Red Riding Hood), ThinkLight keyboard light, full-size keyboard and APS(ActiveProtectionSystem).
