Red wine grade classification

As for the classification of red wine, there will be different classifications in different countries. There are 9 main standards in the world. For example, France's red wine grades, the first level is legal production area wine, the second level is fine production area wine, the third level is regional table wine, the fourth level is daily table wine and so on.

Since August 2009, France’s wine classification has been changed from fourth class to third class. The old wine grades are still in use, and the specific divisions are as follows: Level 1, legal production area wine, APPELLATIONED Origine Controlee (A·O·C). On the wine trademark, as long as it is an AOC-level legal production area wine, there must be a place name between A and C on the bottle label that is the genuine AOC level, such as APPELLATIONED Bordeaux Contr?lée. Second level, excellent wine production area, V·D·Q·S. The third level, regional table wine, Vins de Pays (V·D.P). This level is limited to wines brewed in France. The bottle does not indicate the grape type or harvest year. The fourth level, daily table wine, Vins de Table (V·D.T). The lowest-end French wine is made by blending wines from different regions. The finished product does not need to indicate the place of origin, grape type and year.
