Because the most common fish in the river are carp, grass carp, crucian carp, Wuchang fish, catfish, snakehead, lotus fish and silver carp, on September 26, 2022, Baihe Management Station of Hubei Duheyuan National Nature Reserve cooperated with Huazhong Agricultural University to discover a rare fish creature-short-haired white turtle for the first time, so there are carp, grass carp, crucian carp and Wuchang fish in Taohe, Shiyan.
