Approval of registration: If there is no objection to a trademark that can be registered after objection, or if there is an objection but it is not established during the announcement period, the Korean Intellectual Property Office will approve the registration of the trademark and issue a trademark registration certificate to the applicant.

7. term of protection: the exclusive right to use a trademark is valid for 1 years from the date of approval of registration, and an application for renewal of registration is made within 6 months after the expiration; Failing to file an application within this period, a six-month grace period may be granted. If an application has not been filed at the expiration of the exhibition period, its registered trademark shall be cancelled. Each renewal of registration is valid for 1 years.
