I wonder why my inlaid harp has fifty strings, each with its flower-like fret an interval of youth.

the sage Chuangzi is day-dreaming, bewitched by butterflies, the spring-heart of Emperor Wang is crying in a cuckoo.

mermen weep their pearly tears down a moon-green sea, blue fields are breathing their jade to the sun.

and a moment that ought to have lasted for ever? Has come and gone before I knew.

Translation:

Why does the exquisite instrument have fifty strings, each of which reminds me of my youth? Zhuang Zhou actually knows that he just yearns for the free butterfly. Wang Di's beautiful heart and deeds can touch Du Fu. The shadow of the bright moon in the sea is like a pearl turned into tears. Only at that time can Lantian in another place produce jade like smoke.

those beautiful things and years can only be left in memories. At that time, those people thought those things were just ordinary, but they didn't know how to cherish them.

Some people say that it is a love poem written for a maid named "Jinse" in Linghu Chu family; Some people say that it is a mourning poem written for the late wife Wang; Some people also think that the four poems in the middle can be consistent with the four kinds of feelings, such as appropriateness, resentment, clarity and harmony, which can be inferred as poems about things describing music; In addition, there are many sayings, such as alluding to politics and writing autobiographical poems. For thousands of years, there have been different opinions, and no one can agree. Generally speaking, most people say "mourning" and "self-injury".

after the couplet was written, it was time to turn the pen. When the pen arrived here, the situation in front of it had reached a small level, which seemed to be knotted but not knotted, and the meaning was to be applied. Below this, touch the pen and ink, as if to "get up" again. His brushwork is either like a towering peak, or like a broken thread, or he pushes the pen down, or he is slow and tight, and his techniques can be different, while his philosophical context has a turning point and is always focused. At this time, the poet wrote the famous sentence "mermen weep their pearly tears down a moon-green sea".

A few allusions are mixed together in the above sentence. Beads are born in mussels, and mussels are in the sea. Whenever the moon is bright and quiet, the mussels open to the moon to raise their pearls, and the pearls will get the moonlight, and the aurora will shine. This is a beautiful folk tradition. Tears are like pearls, which is natural since ancient times. Jiao Ren wept tears and became pearls, which is also a strange scene in the sea.
